Compensation: $120,000 – $180,000 Anually

Position Overview
Mainelli Mechanical Contractors is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – MEP to oversee mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and MEP construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout. This individual will be responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, procurement activities, subcontractors, vendors, field operations, and client relationships while ensuring successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead MEP construction projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, from pre-construction to closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasting, and cost controls.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and project stakeholders.
- Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and construction documents.
- Manage procurement activities, material deliveries, and expediting efforts.
- Monitor project progress, resolve field issues, and manage change orders.
- Lead project meetings and provide mentorship to project teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
- Support client relationships and business development initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within MEP, Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, or Commercial Construction environments.
- Proven experience managing commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, government, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, procurement, cost control, and subcontractor management.
- Experience with change orders, RFIs, submittals, project documentation, and project closeout.
- Understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, piping, and MEP construction processes.
- Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
Preferred Experience
- Design-Build project delivery experience.
- Healthcare, hospital, medical gas, process piping, boiler, or data center project experience.
- PMP, LEED, OSHA, or other industry certifications.
