POSITION SUMMARY   

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of Agtegra’s capital projects, with emphasis on infrastructure, facilities, and equipment investments. This position leads cross-functional project efforts, manages contractor relationships, ensures adherence to Agtegra’s safety and quality standards, and provides critical support for engineering and operational initiatives. The Senior Project Manager collaborates with construction supervisors and leadership to manage project budgets, forecasts, and timelines across a portfolio of projects.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

The following duties represent the core responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Lead the planning and execution of capital and construction projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and budget parameters.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, construction supervisors, and vendors to manage timelines, contracts, and cost estimates.
  • Oversee the bidding process, contractor performance, and safety compliance on all facility projects.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and identify long-term capital needs.
  • Develop and implement standard procedures for project management, while supporting continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Guide and support project team members through coaching, goal-setting, and performance tracking.
  • Participate in the leadership of enterprise change initiatives, including the ownership of specific projects. 
  • Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program and DOT regulations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong understanding of construction management, project planning, and procurement practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documentation (e.g., CAD).
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and best practices in construction and facility operations.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, budgeting, and managing multiple priorities under deadlines.
  • Demonstrated leadership in team supervision, goal alignment, and accountability.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, agricultural, or related) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent ten (10) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. 
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Valid driver's license.
