**Position Overview

**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead complex engineering and manufacturing programs from initial planning through successful execution and delivery.

This position will serve as a key link between engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, and other internal stakeholders to ensure programs remain aligned with customer requirements, schedules, budgets, quality expectations, and organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate brings a strong technical manufacturing background combined with proven program management experience. Experience within high-volume manufacturing, automotive, cold forging, flowforming, and/or machining environments is highly desirable.

**Key Responsibilities

**

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering and manufacturing programs.

  • Develop and maintain project scope, objectives, schedules, milestones, budgets, resource requirements, and deliverables.

  • Manage programs throughout the complete project lifecycle, from initial planning and development through manufacturing implementation and completion.

  • Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, product management, and other functional teams.

  • Manage engineering changes involving product design, manufacturing processes, documentation, and program requirements.

  • Track project milestones and deliverables while holding project team members accountable for assigned responsibilities and deadlines.

  • Identify potential program risks, production concerns, resource constraints, and schedule issues before they impact project performance.

  • Develop and execute contingency plans and risk-mitigation strategies.

  • Lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts to address technical, manufacturing, quality, and scheduling challenges.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on program execution, efficiency, communication, and overall team performance.

  • Monitor project costs and resources to ensure programs remain within established budgets and objectives.

  • Provide regular program updates, status reports, performance metrics, and risk assessments to leadership.

  • Present program status, key issues, corrective actions, and recommendations to senior management.

  • Oversee quality-related program activities to ensure engineering and manufacturing deliverables meet applicable standards and requirements.

  • Maintain effective communication between internal stakeholders throughout all phases of the program.

  • Perform additional program and project management responsibilities as required.

**Leadership Responsibilities

**

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams.

  • Establish clear expectations, responsibilities, priorities, and deadlines.

  • Hold project team members accountable for program deliverables and commitments.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical and operational departments.

  • Provide leadership during program challenges, escalations, and changing priorities.

  • Influence outcomes across departments without relying solely on direct reporting authority.

**Qualifications

**

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of program/project management experience, preferably within an engineering-focused manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and project management methodologies.

  • Previous experience supporting high-volume manufacturing and/or automotive programs strongly preferred.

  • Experience with cold forging, flowforming, and machining is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated experience managing engineering changes throughout the design and manufacturing lifecycle.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects, priorities, schedules, and deliverables simultaneously.

  • Strong understanding of project risk identification, mitigation, and contingency planning.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to effectively influence and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, and senior leadership.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

  • **PMP or similar project management certification
