Senior Program Certification & Safety Manager

Boeing Defense, Space & Security is hiring a Senior Program Certification & Safety (SC&P) Manager for the UK E-7 program in Oklahoma City, OK or Tukwila, WA. The position will be the prime leader for program level integration on Certification and Safety topics and serve as part of the E-7 Chief Engineering Office.

Position Responsilbites:

• Successfully Implementing Program Certification and Safety Strategy

• Leading airplane level Certification and Safety Integration across the Program & own related Program Metrics

• Influencing with sound technical judgement in support of the Deputy Chief Engineer on Certification and Safety topics

• Driving identification of Certification and Safety RIOs and validating Mitigation Strategies

• Primary engagement with the Regulatory Authority and Customer AW Team

• Accountable for execution of Certification and Safety teams on their releases

  • Cert Plan Inputs, Cert Plan Ownership, Safety Program Plan, Safety Assessment Reports, etc

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed locations. For a candidate located in Oklahoma City must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time and for Tukwila travel would be 25%-50%.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ Years of experience leading engineering teams as a manager or technical lead

• Experience working on Part 25 certification projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Multi-Functional or airplane integration experience

• Experience working on a large scale airplane development program

Summary pay range: $155,500 - $210,450
