In this role, you'll be all about making sure our aerospace products are top-notch. You'll work on your own to set and meet goals, while also helping out newer quality engineers. Whether it's checking out CAD, PAD, or Linear products, your job is to make sure they're all good to go.

What You Will Do
- Work with the Quality Engineering Manager to set annual goals and objectives for one or more of product lines.
- Work with Design Engineering on new product design and development, including the setting of specifications and Design for Quality, Design for Manufacturability, et cetera.
- Identify and manage risk in product development, primarily utilizing and driving Advanced Product Quality Planning core elements (e.g., DFMEA, PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.).
- Work with Inspection and Non-Destructive Testing to devise testing plans, methods, and equipment to ensure the reliability of the product. This collaborative team will also develop new inspection technologies and methodologies as required.
- Ensure that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts.
- Utilize Manufacturing Process Review (MPR) methods to work with Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering to improve process performance (yield, cycle time reduction, etc.).
- Analyze and make recommendations for corrective actions of nonconformities and/or design problems for internally produced products & processes.
- Manage processes to ensure all requirements are met for work transfer and process change management, including Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance.
- Deploy Statistical Process Control as required to ensure product quality and to improve process capability.
Qualifications You Must Have
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and a minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum 3 years of experience or in the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) access.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering experience
- Lean, ACE, CORE, Six Sigma or other Continuous Improvement experience.

The salary range for this role is 85,000 USD - 179,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
