The Opportunity
This role sits squarely within Vertiv’s racks business, with a primary focus on hyperscale and OEM customers. These customers demand purpose-built, repeatable, and scalable rack solutions—not generic products. This position exists to drive growth by deeply understanding customer-specific requirements, translating them into differentiated rack platforms, and shaping the portfolio to win at scale.
You will own the go-to-market and portfolio evolution for rack solutions targeted at hyperscalers and strategic OEMs, operating at the intersection of customer engagement, product strategy, and execution. You will work directly with product management, engineering, manufacturing, and sales to create rack solutions optimized for customer architectures, deployment models, and operational realities.
This is a high-impact role with direct influence over what products we build, how we position them, and where we invest to capture share in the fastest-growing segment of the data center market.

Hyperscale and OEM customers are redefining what a “rack” is—driving higher levels of customization, tighter integration, and platform thinking. This role gives you direct ownership of how Vertiv responds.
You won’t just sell what exists. You’ll help decide what we build next, ensuring Vertiv’s rack portfolio is purpose-built for the world’s most demanding customers and positioned to win at global.
The anticipated salary range for this role in the California locality is between $160,000 to $240,000 per year (based on a 40-hour work week)]—salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are role based. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to receive and/or participate in profit sharing, allowances, travel and/or car expenses, and earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization depending on the terms of the employee’s role and individual offer details. The role is eligible to participate in a comprehensive and competitive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, disability, PTO, holiday pay, and 401k.
