Global Process Research engineer supporting Evonik‘s Specialty Additives businesses. Performing on highly efficient teams to develop new processes, scale-up new products, improve production efficiency and support cost savings initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute a plan for significant aspects of a research program with guidance from senior colleagues.
Identify new opportunities, conduct innovative scientific experiments, and translate results into practical applications.
Identify shortcomings in current processes and procedures, methodologies, and tools and suggest improvements.
Prepare presentations and reports to capture intellectual property.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Science Chemical Engineering or Masters of Science Chemistry. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience working effectively on teams to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
Works independently and provides guidance and training to others on analyzing data trends to help guide decision making.
Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on developing appropriate plans or performing necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
Applies comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently while providing guidance and training to others on creating relevant and effective reports and presentations.
