Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Develop and implement process control strategies to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Conduct experiments and analyze data to support process optimization initiatives.
- Create and maintain documentation related to process specifications, procedures, and training materials.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams on process-related issues.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on process performance metrics.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in process engineering or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
