Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and improves process capabilities using appropriate tools and applicable methodologies

  • Inputs and analyses numerical data to identify patterns and relationships that can be used to develop optimal workflows and processes

  • Reviews Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring systems and uses technology to achieve goals

  • Drives and champions a continuous improvement culture

  • Supports New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to prepare products or processes for launch

  • Ensures that all local, legal and Freudenberg requirements regarding Health, Safety, and Environment are fulfilled

  • Supports the creation of training documents and delivers training

  • Mentors Apprentices and Technicians to increase individual and team understanding and capability

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing, or related field required).
  • 5+ years of process engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or high‑precision production environment.
  • Proven experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and applying structured problem‑solving methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and transitioning products from development to production.
  • Strong proficiency with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Power BI, Excel—advanced functions).
  • Ability to evaluate and interpret numerical and performance data to identify trends, correlations, and process optimization opportunities.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement frameworks; certification (Green/Black Belt) preferred.
