This position is part of Novanta’s ATI Industrial Automation business unit. ATI is the world’s leading developer of robotic end of arm technologies. Summary

As a Senior Metrology Engineering Technician/CMM Programmer, you'll be performing calibration and maintenance tasks on meteorological instruments, inspecting parts using Vision and CMM equipment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Use Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect key characteristics of products and Program as needed.
  • Defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to fulfill quality requirements
  • Executing and documenting first part testing and last part testing
  • Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and outputs and assisting in Quality concerns.
  • Building and maintaining infrastructure and systems for timely delivery of quality products

General Tasks

  • Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
  • Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative.

Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies

  • Possess significant experience in quality assurance and control
  • Expertise in GD&T, Programming and handheld measurement devices
  • Be proficient in using quality control tools and software
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
