Directly supports and may lead in area maintenance work requests with facilities and production maintenance team. Role ensures preparatory and finish activities to support hard floor maintenance schedules are completed.
The 3rd shift is 11:00pm to 7:30am.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Resolve routine and ad hoc mechanical service calls and in-house repair throughout facilities and ground.
Perform routine and unique equipment repair and installation of office fixtures.
Use maintenance trades to actively resolve issues or complete initiatives on company facilities/grounds.
Play a key role amongst the Facilities Maintenance Team to ensure the timely completion of preventative maintenance orders.
Monitor, control temperatures, perform preventative maintenance, minor repair on air conditioning equipment, compressors, vacuum pumps, heat pumps, boilers, etc.
Supports EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) Coordinator with Hazcom training per established program and schedule.
Assists in spot audits for safety compliance.Perform periodic or special inspections of premises to determine repair work necessary.
Work from rough sketches, blueprints and drawings to determine project resolutions.Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Will be responsible for lifting materials with weight up to 50 lbs unassisted
Must have ability to stand/stoop/bend for 8 hours to review, repair machinery.
Required Qualifications:
High School Degree or Equivalency
4+ years of relevant work experience in CNC machinery and/or other manufacturing settings.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience performing maintenance in a manufacturing environment
