Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for various projects.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Conduct feasibility studies and perform engineering calculations to support design decisions.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and interns.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality assurance teams to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Prepare and present technical documentation, reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to incorporate best practices into projects.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance product designs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
