Job Description

We’re seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our collaborative, solutions-driven team. In this role, you’ll lead the design and development of mechanical systems from concept to production, while also mentoring junior engineers and guiding cross-functional projects. Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define product requirements and create design solutions.

• Lead and contribute to design efforts for new and existing products.

• Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for parts and assemblies (SolidWorks or Inventor preferred).

• Check technical drawings for accuracy and completeness.

• Build and test prototypes to validate product performance.

• Conduct lab testing to meet customer and regulatory standards.

• Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.

• Mentor junior engineers and provide feedback on their work.

• Lead engineering projects and delegate tasks effectively.

• Participate in design reviews and present concepts to internal stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 7+ years of mechanical design experience, ideally in a production environment

• Strong background in sheet metal design

• Experience with electronic enclosures, cabinets, and injection-molded plastics is a plus

• Familiarity with stress, thermal, and/or flow analysis preferred

• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD tools

• Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
