Material Program Manager to support proposal activities for the Strategic Sensors and Precision Strike (SSPS) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) as part of the Air and Spaces Defense Systems (ASDS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). The Material Program Manager (MPM) is a strong leader with demonstrated project management skills. This position will be accountable for Supply Chain Proposal Activities supporting SSPS programs. This individual must be a self-starter, capable of supporting and executing organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management, including supplier management. This role responsibility will include leading supply chain activities related to hardware delivery and proposals. You will have accountability for supplier performance, subcontract management, proposal development, and budget ownership.

Position to be located in Marlborough, MA, Woburn, MA, or Andover, MA.

This position is an onsite role.

What You Will Do

  • Lead supplier proposal support activities for the SSPS portfolio
  • Develop and communicate global supply chain strategies in alignment with the goals of the business and the supply chain organization
  • Support planning, execution and reporting of material and labor budgets, sales, and contributing to monthly LRE and quarterly EAC inputs
  • Serve as a key contributor in a Cross Business Team environment
  • Support leadership reviews, including Gate reviews, Monthly Operations Reviews, Customer and Program Reviews.
  • Execute make/buy/where process
  • Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives
  • Balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs
  • Collaborate with supply chain functions for support as needed
  • Monitor performance metrics and proactively acts to address program and functional issues
  • Serve as single point of contact to management and to internal customers, including Program Office, Quality, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Contracts. They will represent the Supply Chain organization on policies, strategies and objectives, oversee all SCM activities needed to meet program requirements, and ensures a strong link within and between various Supply Chain functions, including Sourcing, Logistics, and Production Control.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of ten (10) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Ability to convert business area and customer requirements into executable strategies.
  • Raytheon Supply Chain/MPM experience (including Raytheon MPM Certification)
  • Ability to obtain MPM certification within 1 year of start
  • Experience with contract flow down requirements and how to filter those specific to Supply Chain.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project)
  • Raytheon PRISM experience
  • Microsoft Project
  • Working knowledge of US Government acquisition laws and regulations
  • Fluency in Raytheon systems, process, and procedures.
  • Secret clearance or Ability to obtain within 1 year
  • Experience with Supply Chain processes and related systems
  • Program and/or functional experience managing material (SCM, Engineering Program/Integrated Program Team (IPT), Operations)
  • Experience working in the DoD Aerospace & Defense industry and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
