Converting Technician Manufacturing | Full-Time | On-Site
Overview We are seeking an experienced Converting Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting the medical, electronics, and green energy industries. This is a hands-on role for a mechanical professional with precision converting equipment experience in a production setting. The ideal candidate is quality-driven, dependable, and built for a high-performance environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain converting equipment including laminators, slitters, punch presses, rotary die cutters, and roll-to-roll web processing machinery
- Perform machine set-ups per customer specifications and quality procedures
- Produce products with accuracy, efficiency, and consistency
- Read and follow verbal and written work instructions
- Troubleshoot equipment and material-related issues
- Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation following GDP standards
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and clean workspace expectations
- Support product development and process improvement initiatives as needed
- Assist with additional production-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in die cutting, laminating, slitting, rotary die cutting, or roll-to-roll web processing
- Background in a converting or fabrication manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and machine operation skills
- Ability to perform set-ups based on detailed specifications
- Basic math skills including measurement conversions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and work full shifts on the production floor
- Effective written and verbal communication in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 procedures
- Experience in clean room environments
