We have recently expanded our Washington footprint to Spokane and are looking for a dynamic individual that will enjoy being a part of the team that is launching our newest location.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Performs more complicated equipment maintenance and repair operations involved in the installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of a wide variety of equipment and machinery to ensure machinery and equipment runs smoothly.
- Work may be preventative (usually scheduled), or emergency in nature, which may require immediate response.
- Diagnoses malfunctions using technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and other test equipment.
- Servicing and possible cleaning of compressors, hydraulics, plumbing fixtures, motors, relays and contacts, electrical and electronic panels and controls. Replacement of parts and control modules.
- Carpentry and related work involved in maintaining buildings.
- Disassembles, select repair procedures; repair/replacing worn or defective parts, use of hand and power tools, and a variety of machine tools.
- Records and ensures validity of entries into the preventative maintenance data collection and inspection system.
- Helps with general facilities maintenance, including plant and office re-layouts.
- May work indoors in a factory or outdoors in variable elements.
- Protective safety clothing and equipment will be worn for most jobs.
- May oversee the work of lower-level maintenance workers although has no direct supervisory responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school level education or equivalent and specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job; 5-7 years of experience or specialized training in related field.
- Familiarity with commercial/industrial, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Must possess good practical and technical skills.
- Ability in math and an understanding of engineering drawings and principles.
- The ability to work quickly and under pressure.
- An awareness of health and safety legislation.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
