🧑🏭 Reports To: Engineering Manager
We’re looking for an experienced and driven Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team! This role will focus on improving manufacturing performance across the organization by analyzing current processes, implementing innovative production methods, and ensuring our quality systems align with customer and company standards.
As a key contributor to continuous improvement, you’ll work cross-functionally to optimize layouts, material flow, manpower utilization, and cost savings—all while supporting our culture of quality and operational excellence.
🔧 Process Improvement & Analysis
Lead ongoing analysis of manufacturing processes to improve profitability, efficiency, and product quality
Recommend and implement changes that reduce waste, increase productivity, and cut costs
🛠️ Capital Projects & Tooling
Propose and execute capital investments (equipment, jigs, fixtures, etc.) to support manufacturing goals
📊 Manufacturing & Inventory Support
Maintain accurate manufacturing data within the inventory control system, including routings, work centers, lead/que times, and capacity planning info
✅ Quality Systems & Customer Requirements
Interpret customer quality standards and ensure compliance through process development and documentation
Partner with Quality and other departments to align production with contract requirements
🤝 Cross-Department Collaboration
Coordinate with departments including Production, Maintenance, and Leadership to align on process and quality initiatives
Promote a people-centric, collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making

🎓 Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment required
Continued education or certifications in lean, Six Sigma, or project management a plus
🔧 Technical & Physical Requirements:
Mechanical aptitude and strong ability to interpret technical drawings
Proficient in manufacturing math and process troubleshooting
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing some bending/twisting tasks
Strong results-driven mindset with attention to detail
🧠 Soft Skills & Leadership:
High emotional intelligence; skilled in conflict resolution and nonverbal communication
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive engagement at all levels
Excellent communication skills—able to translate complex concepts into actionable plans
