Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Project Management will serve as a critical leader in advancing the strategic growth and operational excellence of Walmart’s Fuel & Convenience portfolio. This role is responsible for implementing scalable processes, guiding field execution, and driving cross‑functional alignment to ensure successful delivery of high‑impact initiatives. The Senior Manager will play a central role in overseeing enterprise‑level technology deployments—including modernization of fuel dispensers and digital platforms—to enhance the customer experience and support long‑term business objectives.

What you'll do...

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery for Walmart Fuel initiatives, from concept through execution and closeout.
  • Oversee enterprise‑wide deployment of Fuel & Convenience technology innovations while implementing scalable processes that ensure consistent, efficient execution across the +450‑unit network
  • Collaborate with general contractors, field associates, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
  • Drive strategic planning efforts to achieve business objectives and fuel expansion goals.
  • Secure necessary approvals to accelerate project ideas from concept to implementation.
  • Facilitate prioritization and alignment across multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Champion organizational innovation and change management initiatives.
  • Make data-driven recommendations to influence change and support multiple concurrent projects.
  • Promote and uphold Walmart’s policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Provide training and direction to others, ensuring compliance and supporting the Open Door Policy.

What you’ll bring…

  • Proven experience in Project Management or Product Management, preferably in a retail, fuel, or convenience environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and scale processes to support business growth.
  • Strong presence in the field with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and project delivery.
  • Strategic planning expertise with a track record of achieving goals and objectives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication, planning, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in securing approvals and driving projects from ideation to implementation.
  • Experience in facilitating organizational innovation and leading change management efforts.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and make data-driven decisions across multiple projects.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field and 4 years' experience in business, operations, analytics, or related area OR 6 years' experience in business, operations, analytics, or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.
3 years’ project management experience.
