The Raytheon Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) organization is seeking a business operations lead supporting the Naval Systems and Sustainment (NSS) portfolio of programs. This candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining supply chain & operations metrics, supporting proposals, & leading business process improvement initiatives. The position requires the ability to exert cross-functional influence on near term objectives, drive accountability, and improve operational excellence. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the director of Operations and Supply Chain for the NSS Sub Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) supporting portfolio MPMs and POMs across multiple Raytheon factories.

This is a hybrid role based in Tewksbury, MA. Relocation assistance is not provided.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage, track and maintain OSC metrics, Improvement Targets and KPIs
  • Support and enhance the NSS Operations and Supply Chain organization collaboration activities, tasking, and execution reviews to include gates, EACs, and AOP/LRP updates
  • Implement process improvements that result in a healthy value chain for development and production programs through collaboration, leadership, and CORE
  • Interface with internal and external Customers ensuring satisfactory standards of service
  • Manage and support OSC proposal activities including task descriptions and BOEs
  • Lead collaborative teams on tactical and strategic discussions to drive results and break down barriers

What You Will Learn:

The prospective candidate will learn the key performance measures and associated impact that drive program performance and predictability. This portfolio affords one the opportunity to gain experience in the full product life cycle to include capture, development, Low-Rate Production, Full-Rate Production, and Sustainment while also gaining knowledge of the vast range of Naval contract types, vehicles, and customers to include CPIF, CPFF, FFP, FPIF, T&M, IDIQs, OTAs, Task Orders, Sole source, Competitive, USG Domestic, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS). The NSS portfolio spans the battlespace from seabed to space inclusive of the Spy-6 Family of Radars, Future X-Band Radar (FXR), Close-in Weapon System (CIWS/Phalanx), MK54 and Compact Rapid Attack Weapon torpedo's, Barracuda Mine Neutralizer, Aegis illuminators, Dual Band Radar (DBR), and Zumwalt class ship activation and modernization and more. This breadth of products and customers will provide experience with the different technical and contractual requirements that accompany the contrasting environments these products perform in to support the US Navy customer and their allies.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years
  • prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Experience with MRP, Materials or labor Forecasting, Operations systems
  • Experience leading or supporting proposals, developing BOEs, SOWs, and creating/defending bids
  • Experience with Estimate at Completion (EAC’s) and budget.
  • Experience in program or project management to include Risk and Opportunity Management
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • EMVS Certification
  • Cost Account Management (CAM) Experience
  • Strong executive presence and reporting skills
  • Experience in MS applications with focus on PowerPoint and Excel
  • Familiarity with PRISM, Raytheon systems and tools
  • Experience managing manufacturing plans and maintaining schedule in cross-functional, matrixed environment
  • Capital planning / budgeting
  • Customer proposal, negotiation experience, TINA compliance
  • Supply chain experience in the Aerospace or Defense Industry
  • Understanding of company structure and established network within Raytheon

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
