Position Summary...
Sam’s Club is looking for a Senior Manager, Operations Analytics - MarTech Automation to lead high-impact work at the intersection of marketing technology, analytics, automation, and business operations. This role is for a leader who can take complex, often ambiguous business challenges and turn them into scalable, data-driven solutions that improve marketing effectiveness, operational performance, and decision-making.
In this role, you’ll lead a team and partner across marketing, product, technology, and business operations to strengthen automation capabilities, improve data quality and governance, and ensure analytics work translates into measurable business outcomes. Success will come from your ability to connect strategy to execution, build trust across stakeholders, and create the systems, insights, and team environment needed to move faster and smarter.

What You'll Do
- Lead the execution of key analytics and automation initiatives that improve how MarTech operations support the business, from prioritization through delivery and continuous improvement.
- Turn broad business needs into clear, actionable plans by identifying root causes, defining success measures, and aligning the right data, technology, and operational approach.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders across marketing, technology, product, and operations to identify opportunities where automation and analytics can improve efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and business impact.
- Build and drive business cases for MarTech and analytics initiatives by linking work to measurable outcomes, operational value, and return on investment.
- Improve the quality, reliability, and usability of marketing and operational data by establishing standards, resolving issues, and driving strong data management practices.
- Advance data governance across the function by helping define processes, access controls, metadata standards, master data practices, and responsible data usage.
- Guide the team in identifying the right data sources, validating data fitness, and applying exploratory analysis to uncover trends, gaps, and opportunities for optimization.
- Translate complex data into clear, compelling stories through dashboards, visualizations, and executive-ready insights that influence decisions and drive action.
- Lead through ambiguity by removing blockers, adapting plans as priorities shift, and ensuring work stays aligned to business strategy in a fast-moving environment.
- Build a high-performing team by mentoring associates, setting clear expectations, providing meaningful feedback, and fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous growth.
What You'll Bring
- Experience leading teams and delivering results in analytics, operations, marketing technology, automation, or a related function.
- A track record of turning complex business problems into structured, scalable solutions that improve performance and drive measurable outcomes.
- Strong understanding of how analytics, automation, and operational processes work together to support business and marketing goals.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and influencing decisions across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strength in data storytelling, with the ability to transform complex findings into clear recommendations for different audiences.
- Experience working with data quality, governance, data sourcing, reporting, and visualization in support of business operations and decision-making.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to connect day-to-day execution to broader strategic priorities.
- Demonstrated success building team capability through coaching, feedback, and performance leadership.
- Comfort working in ambiguity, balancing multiple priorities, and adjusting quickly as business needs evolve.
- A leadership style grounded in integrity, collaboration, and a commitment to building trust in both people and data.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
