What you'll do...
The Senior Manager, Material Handling Equipment Service is a leader that oversees training, standard operating procedures (SOP; s, Process Safety Management (PSM), Management of Change (MOC), managing repairs and or upgrades of the anhydrous ammonia refrigeration system. This exciting opportunity will manage a national program which directly influences our Grocery supply system, working primarily with our sites refrigeration associates / our safety and compliance teams as well with our Grocery Senior leadership. The role is a Home Office-based position and reports to the Director, Materials Handling Equipment Service.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if…
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field; or equipment combination of education and experience.
5 Years experience in industrial refrigeration management, including supervisory experience.
Familiar with OSHAA and EPA regulations related to refrigeration systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team members, field associates, and leadership
Strong problem solving and analytical skills to assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues with refrigeration systems.

Ensuring the integrity of the ammonia refrigeration system is maintained at over 40+ facilities.
Ensures training and certification to the Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator (CIRO) level for all refrigeration staffing, and renewal of annual Refrigeration Engineers and Technicians Association (RETA) memberships
Input on changes to the design, performance, and utilization of the refrigeration systems at all grocery distribution centers
Will be the fields direct support contact for any refrigeration system assistance.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
