We have an exciting hybrid opportunity for a Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain Contracts!

Reporting to the Director, Global Supply Chain Contracts, this position will support and be the primary contact for leaders in Pratt & Whitney’s Global Supply Chain organization that have responsibility for several product and non-product commodities. This position will be responsible for reviewing, negotiating, drafting, and interpreting short- and long-term agreements, coordinating and synthesizing inputs from various internal stakeholders, negotiating with suppliers, and maturing and continuously improving product and non-product procurement processes.

What you will Do:

  • Primary contracts support for Pratt & Whitney Global Supply Chain leaders, with responsibility for several product and non-product commodities
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of supply chain operations to conduct thorough contractual analysis on existing deals to identify potential risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate disputes and enhance contract performance
  • Review, draft and negotiate Global Supply Chain contracts
  • Play a key role in driving Pratt & Whitney’s strategic goals by delivering contract solutions that support business growth and optimize operational efficiency
  • Define and present for leadership approval a legal terms negotiating sandbox for each transaction
  • Work closely with Legal, Strategic Sourcing, Finance, Global Trade, Cyber Security, Intellectual Property and other subject matter experts in all stages of transaction activity
  • Mature and continuously improve processes related to the review, negotiation, execution, and management of Global Supply Chain contracts
  • Understand and ensure compliance with the laws, policies, and procedures applicable to Pratt & Whitney’s Global Supply Chain activities

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor Degree and 10+ years of professional experience, including legal and contracts experience, with a strong focus on supply chain contracts; OR an Advanced Degree and 7+ years of professional experience, including legal and contracts experience, with a strong focus on supply chain contracts
  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Advanced Business Degree or Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.)
  • Substantial experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating high-dollar, long-term, and complex contracts in the manufacturing sector
  • Team player who proactively and effectively supports and engages with the other members of the contracts team, legal department, and other functional groups
  • Ability to independently identify the legal, IP and business risk of a proposed transaction and obtain appropriate terms
  • Ability to balance commercial and legal considerations, and to identify and deploy leverage, to obtain the best overall outcome for Pratt & Whitney
  • Ability to think and work proactively and strategically in resolving legal issues
  • Sound judgment and relentless attention to detail
  • Ability to interact effectively with multiples levels of the organization and maintain strong relationship with peers, internal clients, and external suppliers
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to present the status and results of a negotiation

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
