As a Lead Maintenance Mechanic You Will:
Oversee daily maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment reliability and plant uptime.
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment.
Repair and maintain Raymond mills, pneumatic conveying systems, jaw crushers, belt conveyors, motors, valves, mixers, and other mechanical equipment.
Collaborate with the Plant Manager to support production schedules and quality objectives.
Maintain maintenance documentation, inspection reports, and audit records.
Monitor equipment performance and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
Maintain housekeeping standards throughout maintenance and production areas.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of maintenance or plant operations experience.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Experience with mechanical power transmissions, conveyors, crushers, Raymond mills, pneumatic conveying systems, motors, valves, forklifts, and industrial plant equipment.
Welding and fabrication experience required.
Crane and forklift operation experience required.
Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
MSHA experience and ISO/Quality Management System experience preferred.
First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Degree preferred.
Salary
$30.00-$40.00/hr
