Job Description:

Parsons has an opening for a Senior Construction Inspector position to work on the Cemetery Brook Drain Tunnel Project in Manchester New Hampshire.

The selected candidate will perform difficult and sometimes complex inspection tasks as well as inspect various facets of work on the construction site and perform continuous surveillance of assigned construction activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Inspection activities are usually concentrated in one of the following areas: soils, concrete, mechanical, or electrical. Willingness to travel and/or to relocate to field sites is expected.

This opening may require on different shifts. You will be required to be on site prior to your shift starting and be responsible to complete your reports after shift. Inspectors are expected to work overtime and Saturdays depending on the contractor’s work schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspection activities and reports to verify work has been done in accordance with contract specifications.

  • This would include working in the tunnel shafts as work dictates as well as environmental and safety inspections.


Qualifications:

  • Candidate will be required to have 10+ years of related Tunnel experience on heavy construction, Shafts & Mechanical Piping .

  • Applicant must also be familiar with DEP E-Builder Systems and proficient with Microsoft, depending on type of inspection assignment.

  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to area of assignment.

Salary Range: $42.50 - $74.38
