The pay range is: $106,184.00 - $166,000.00

JOB POSITION: Senior Industrial Engineer

LOCATION: 2115 Technology Pkwy, Cedar Falls, IA 50613

DUTIES: Support the implementation and maintenance of the engineering program across warehouse and delivery operations including: defining Engineered Labor Standards (ELS) updates, process improvement initiatives, system configuration and education of field leadership and team members on industrial engineering functions; perform onsite audits, performance validations and analytical evaluations of operational activities; identify any opportunities for process improvement, determining root cause and creating and maintaining standards; work cross-functionally with project stakeholders from conceptual design through execution of project plans related to reengineering and optimization, using standard project management tools (PMI methodology, Lean Six Sigma); extract business insights from data, solve problem statements, conduct gap analysis and recommend focus areas for leadership; assist with estimation of production costs, cost savings methods, and the effects of design and process changes; apply experience with time study methodologies, predetermined time systems (MOST, MTM, MSD) and labor standards; perform configuration, maintenance, and reporting of Labor Management Systems (LMS) and apply knowledge of engineering optimization methods (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma) along with standard project management processes; and utilize strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills showing strong leadership and conflict management skills.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field and at least five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience with process engineering or manufacturing engineering (any title) using Six Sigma and predetermined time systems (MOST, MTM or MSD), including at least one (1) year of experience creating standard operating procedures for manufacturing processes, conducting time studies, optimizing manufacturing processes, integrating new products into manufacturing processes, and creating and executing performance test plans.
