Monday–Friday | 5:00AM–1:30PM | On-site in Douglassville, PA

This role is designed for a highly skilled individual contributor who takes pride in doing complex electrical work right the first time and enjoys mentoring others through example...not managing from behind a desk. You’ll work on custom, high-consequence crane and hoist systems where precision, safety, and craftsmanship matter every day.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:00AM–1:30PM | Full-time hours on-site

What You’ll Do

Advanced Electrical Work

  • Perform complex electrical installations on overhead cranes and hoist systems
  • Build, wire, and troubleshoot control panels, motors, resistors, push-button stations, and festoon systems
  • Bend, thread, and install rigid conduit to meet design and code requirements
  • Fabricate and install electrical brackets, supports, and assemblies


Troubleshooting & Problem Solving

  • Diagnose and resolve advanced electrical issues efficiently and safely
  • Apply deep understanding of electrical theory and real-world troubleshooting techniques
  • Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve design or build challenges


Quality, Safety & Standards

  • Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards
  • Perform equipment testing and verification prior to release
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas


Technical Leadership (Non-Supervisory)

  • Serve as a technical resource for Electrician I & II team members
  • Share best practices, coach through complex tasks, and lead by example
  • Support production planning by providing realistic estimates and technical input

 

What We’re Looking For

Education

  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or technical training (preferred)


Skills, Experience & Attributes

  • 7+ years of industrial or heavy equipment electrical experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with crane or large equipment electrical systems
  • Advanced ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Deep working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Proven experience with control panel wiring, rigid conduit installation, and complex electrical assemblies
  • Strong troubleshooting skills grounded in real-world application
  • Safety-first mindset and high personal workmanship standards
  • Willingness to mentor others without formal supervisory responsibility

Licensing

  • State electrician license preferred but not required

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
  • Ability to verify identity and employment authorization (Form I-9)
  • Eligibility to access information or technology governed by U.S. export control laws (including 10 C.F.R. Part 810, EAR, and/or ITAR), where applicable
  • Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with applicable laws
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screen in accordance with company policy and randomized drug screens during employment
  • Ability to meet the posted work schedule and work required hours
  • Ability to maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Willingness to wear appropriate PPE when in shop areas
  • Willingness to complete required safety and compliance training
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to maintain professional conduct aligned with company values and expectations

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and perform confined space work
  • Ability to operate or work around forklifts, aerial lifts, and overhead cranes
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and work on your feet for extended periods

 

Work Environment

  • Industrial manufacturing environment
  • Regular exposure to moving machinery and electrical systems
  • Occasional exposure to heat, noise, vibration, and airborne particles
  • Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
