The Senior Human Resources Coordinator will work with the Senior Manager, Human Resources to support employees in benefits, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, immigration, and other HR functions as needed to meet department goals. This role will play a key part in supporting training efforts across both learning and development (L&D) and environmental, health, and safety (EH&S), partnering closely with internal stakeholders to reinforce a culture of continuous learning.


Essential Functions:

  • Serves as the central administrative support for the HR function, managing daily transactional tasks such as data entry, employee file maintenance, and employment verifications. Coordinates and facilitates the end-to-end onboarding process, including E-Verify, I-9 completion, benefits overview, and system access. Conducts new hire orientation, ensuring all employees receive appropriate policy, WMS, safety, harassment prevention, and goal-setting training tailored to their roles. Partners with the HRBP to ensure an engaging and compliant onboarding experience.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefit-related questions. Provides clear and accurate information on topics such as attendance, paid time off, leaves of absence, workplace conduct, and health and welfare benefits. Escalates complex issues to the HR Business Partner or Benefits Team as appropriate while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Proactively identifies trends in employee questions to recommend updates to FAQs, orientation content, or internal communications. Supports open enrollment activities and benefit education efforts to ensure employee understanding and engagement.
  • Supports the scheduling and logistical coordination of site trainings, including PIT certification, annual compliance refreshers, onboarding tracks, and safety-focused sessions. Supports department trainers and external facilitators by preparing materials, managing attendance, and providing follow-up reporting. Monitors training completion, supports trainer accountability, and helps assess effectiveness through surveys and engagement metrics.
  • Serves as the primary site liaison for HRIS updates, partnering with HR Operations to maintain accurate employee data. Processes employment changes such as promotions, transfers, and terminations in a timely and compliant manner. Ensures all employee documentation is retained in accordance with Amneal policy and applicable regulations. Supports the HRBP in preparing employee reports, audits, and status change tracking.
  • Supports execution of employee engagement initiatives such as Safety Month, wellness campaigns, employee appreciation events, and community outreach. Maintains HR communication boards and assists with digital messaging platforms, ensuring consistent, clear, and engaging content. Manages the accurate posting of federal, state, and local employment law posters and tracks documentation for compliance audits.

  • Assists with other small projects and audits as needed.
  • Prepares job letters.
  • Coordinates monthly random drug testing selections.
  • Keeps up to date on state and federal employment laws.
