In this role, you will support customers across the Gulf Coast by providing hands‑on service for our Engineered Solutions for Flow and Quality Measurement, helping ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations in one of the nation’s leading industrial and energy regions. 

 

Our Engineered Solutions portfolio includes custody transfer/fiscal metering systems, analytical process gas systems, continuous emissions monitoring systems, liquid analysis systems, and sustainability solutions. Lifecycle Services cover digital engagements, annual recurring revenue contracts, upgrades, and “As a Service" business models.

 
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Perform field services, including emergency and scheduled maintenance, to support Emerson’s installed base of analytical systems and flow measurement / custody transfer solutions, including CEMS, DeNOx, gas purity, combustion control, and fiscal metering systems.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting, configuration, calibration, and startup services across analytical instrumentation, process gas systems, and flow measurement technologies including Coriolis, ultrasonic, and associated instrumentation.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and startup of engineered solutions, including analytical systems, sampling systems, data acquisition systems, and custody transfer / fiscal metering skids (gas and liquid, including LACT units).
  • Support Factory Checkout (FCO), Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to ensure analytical and flow systems meet quality, contractual, and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with factory engineering teams, service centers, Sales, and Business Development Managers to develop, validate, and deliver optimal technical solutions aligned with customer requirements and execution capabilities.
  • Provide technical training and post-sale service planning for customers and internal teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of analytical and flow measurement systems.
  • Develop and refine best practice procedures for startup, calibration, verification, and troubleshooting of both analytical systems and custody transfer / flow measurement solutions.
  • Manage administrative responsibilities, travel, and expenses in a fiscally responsible manner while ensuring full compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Act as the strategic communication link between customers and Emerson to resolve technical issues, warranty claims, and performance concerns, ensuring timely resolution and accountability.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical expertise through training and self-directed learning on analytical instrumentation, sampling systems, flow measurement technologies, and engineered solutions.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Five (5) years of related experience
  • Travel required up to 75% domestically
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
     
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Ten (10) years of related experience with Analytical Process Gas Systems
  • Experience with Analytical Process Gas and Liquid applications, such as Emissions Monitoring (CEMs), DeNOx, Gas Purity, and Combustion Control
  • Experience with Coriolis and ultrasonic flow measurement technologies
  • Experience with Sampling Handling Systems and Data Acquisition 
  • Understanding of Modbus protocol and network communications
