Xylem is looking for a Water Treatment Field Service Technician to report to our Little Rock, AR office and service our water treatment equipment at customer sites in the surrounding areas. This person will be required to travel to parts of OK and TX on occasion as well.
What your day will look like as a Water Treatment Field Service Technician
The Water Treatment Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is especially encouraged.
This position has general day shift hours M-F with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.

Position Requirements for Water Treatment Field Service Technicians
HS diploma or equivalent
2+ years technical experience preferred- industrial or commercial process water experience a plus
Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices
Ability to work in a high customer facing position
Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physical
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 15% overnight travel, 85% local home-daily travel.
The estimated salary range for this position is $27 to $31/hr. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
