Transform at JLL as a Senior Facilities Manager on a prominent Fortune 500 technology client account! You will work with an integrated facilities management team at our clients headquarters.

Location: Plano TX 75024 & Richardson, TX 75082 (splitting time between)
Work Schedule: Onsite, M-F 8 AM-5 PM

Reports to: Regional Facilities Manager

Estimated base salary range: 110,000 - 140,000

What this job involves:

Seeking a Senior Facilities Manager (SFM) to join our team in Texas market, to serve as the primary point of contact for our client while ensuring exceptional service delivery and tenant satisfaction across the portfolio. This strategic role supporting client owned and lease buildings in Plano, Richardson, Allen and Austin, TX combines operational excellence with relationship management. The position will ensure seamless operations, maximize infrastructure uptime, and create exceptional experiences for building occupants through proactive relationship management and operational excellence.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Relationship Management

  • Lead client engagement as the trusted advisor and primary liaison, building strong partnerships through regular communication, strategic planning sessions, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Oversee and implement programs that enhance workplace satisfaction, including amenity management, event coordination, and tenant communication strategies
  • Understand client objectives and translate them into actionable facilities strategies that align with their business goals.
  • Champion a customer-first approach across all touch points, from move-in/move-out coordination to daily operations
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex issues, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining client confidence.
  • Maintain interface with suppliers, ensuring total contract compliance, accurate and timely reporting, and resolve critical impacts to occupant relations issues

Financial Management

  • Prepare, submit and manage facility budgets with the clients’ goals and objectives addressed
  • Ensure monthly/quarterly/annual expenses are managed within the approved budgets
  • Provide detailed explanations and Implement recovery process for all +/- variances
  • Implement cost-reducing initiatives

People Management

  • Manage the performance and outcomes of assigned staff reporting to the position
  • Responsible for overall team management, staff development and planning. Execute staff succession and growth plans.
  • For every direct report, build actionable and measurable career development plans; direct report in consistent conversations regarding progress

Service Delivery

  • Achieve and maintain contracted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure adherence to work order and project timelines and commitments, delivering on time and on budget.
  • Leverage appropriate JLL resources and expertise for specific projects.

Compliance

  • Provide overall facility services in accordance with accounts’ standard processes and procedures including application of policies and programs, coordination of information
  • Ensure compliance with portfolio-wide initiatives and required local, state and federal laws and regulations that pertain to the operating of facilities entrusted to the Facility Partners to manage on behalf of the client as owner

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record in client relationship management and service delivery.
  • Experience with facilities management/CMMS software. (Corrigo Experience a plus)
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in facilities management.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IFMA CFM, FMP, SFP, PMP, OSHA 30, BOMI, or related facilities certifications preferred; prior experience in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) or outsourced service delivery environments.
