EHC is currently looking for a Senior Facilities Asset Manager for a client in the south Houston, TX area.
Job Summary:
The Senior Asset & Facilities Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight and day-to-day operations of the company and its client's real estate assets and facilities. This role ensures properties are maintained at high standards, capital improvements are executed efficiently, vendor performance is optimized, and facilities-related costs are controlled. The position requires a proactive leader who can manage both people and physical assets across a portfolio of commercial properties and service locations. This role is based in Houston, Texas, is primarily an 'in-the-office' role (although site visits are regular), and reports directly to the company president.
Candidates must be well-versed in all major building systems (including HVAC, roof, mechanical, electrical, elevator) and have an understanding of different construction methodologies and procedures. Ideal candidates will have good asset and facilities management experience and the ability to manage a large portfolio of commercial assets utilizing their existing team in addition to third-party
contractors/vendors. Bachelors degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering extremely helpful. Minimum 10+ years of experience with asset/facilities management required.

Diversity of experience with different property types is ideal (office, industrial, retail).
Bachelors degree in building construction, building science, architecture, or engineering preferred.
In-depth understanding of building systems and maintenance best practices.
Experience managing vendors, contracts and maintenance teams
Proficiency with CMMS systems (Yardi, FMX, etc .. }
Knowledge of MS Office (Excel}
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Willingness to travel (2-5 days/month}
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Integrity and accountability with a strong desire to grow and expand
A team player with leadership abilities
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
