Job Overview:

This client is looking for a well-rounded Senior Electrical Engineer who can bridge digital hardware and firmware. The challenge has been finding candidates who are strong in both areas—many candidates are heavily firmware-focused but do not have enough hands-on digital hardware/board-level design experience. This is very much a hardware/firmware integration role. The engineer sits between the digital hardware, RF hardware, and lower-level control/firmware functions. The ideal candidate isn't purely a firmware engineer or purely a PCB designer. My client needs someone who understands how the board is designed, how the firmware interacts with it, and how to bring the two together during test, checkout, and integration.
