Position Overview

The Senior HSE Manager provides strategic leadership across multiple project sites, overseeing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices, regulatory compliance, hazard identification, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Talent Development: Coach and manage HSE professionals, build talent pipelines, and mentor future leaders.

• Strategy & Field Execution: Align safety strategy with field operations, establish site-specific safety plans, and lead pre-construction EHS initiatives.

• Program Oversight: Monitor site performance, oversee incident investigations, conduct training assessments, and ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with field teams, contractors, and leadership to integrate safety throughout all project phases.

• Strategic Risk Management: Provide data-driven insights on emerging risks, incident trends, and proactive mitigation strategies to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree + 8 years of relevant HSE experience with CHST or CSP certification OR 11+ years of relevant experience with CHST/CSP and SMS certifications.

• Key Competencies: Strong coaching and conflict-resolution skills, EHS regulatory expertise, strategic thinking, and project management capabilities.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in standard office productivity software and enterprise management tools.

• Site Presence & Travel: Ability to spend up to 80% of working time on active jobsites; travel up to 25%.

Working Conditions

• Work spans standard indoor office settings and active field jobsites with variable noise levels.

• Physical demands include standing, walking active sites, and occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs.
