JOB OVERVIEW:

Jennmar is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Global Project Management to lead and evolve the company's global project management organization. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Project Management, this executive will be responsible for establishing and executing a world-class project management framework that enables Jennmar to successfully deliver complex, multi-disciplinary projects across global markets.

The Senior Director will provide strategic leadership across the full project lifecycle—from opportunity development and project initiation through engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and closeout. The role will partner closely with executive leadership and leaders across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Field Services to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to customer expectations.

This leader will be both strategic and hands-on, building scalable processes, developing high-performing project teams, strengthening project governance, and creating visibility into the organization's global project portfolio. The successful candidate will bring a demonstrated ability to lead large, complex projects in a global industrial, manufacturing, engineering, construction, infrastructure, mining, or related environment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, Project Management, Operations, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in project management, including significant experience leading complex projects and project organizations.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing project managers, program managers, or multidisciplinary teams.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated experience managing large, complex projects across multiple functions and/or geographic regions.
• Proven experience developing project management processes, governance structures, and performance metrics.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including experience with project budgets, forecasting, margin management, and change control.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and lead across organizational boundaries without relying solely on direct authority.
• Experience working directly with senior executives, customers, and other high-level stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

Global Project Management Leadership

• Develop and execute Jennmar's global project management strategy in alignment with corporate objectives and growth plans.
• Establish consistent project management standards, methodologies, tools, and governance across business units and geographic regions.
• Lead and develop a global team of project managers, program managers, project controls professionals, and supporting personnel.
• Establish clear roles, responsibilities, decision rights, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build a culture focused on ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and execution excellence.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex or strategically important projects.

Project Portfolio & Execution

• Oversee a portfolio of complex domestic and international projects with varying levels of technical, commercial, and operational complexity.
• Establish portfolio-level visibility into project scope, schedule, cost, resources, risks, opportunities, and overall performance.
• Ensure project plans incorporate appropriate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, installation, commissioning, and customer requirements.
• Develop effective stage-gate processes for project initiation, planning, execution, change management, and closeout.
• Monitor project performance and proactively address schedule, cost, resource, quality, contractual, and execution risks.
• Ensure appropriate project controls, forecasting, reporting, and corrective-action processes are in place.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner with Sales and Business Development to ensure effective transition from commercial opportunity to project execution.
• Collaborate with Engineering to establish realistic technical deliverables, design schedules, and resource requirements.
• Work closely with Manufacturing and Operations to align production capacity, material availability, quality requirements, and delivery schedules.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement to mitigate sourcing and logistics risks and support project commitments.
• Collaborate with Finance to establish project budgets, forecasts, financial controls, margin visibility, and profitability reporting.
• Coordinate with Quality, Safety, and Field Services to ensure projects meet Jennmar and customer requirements.
• Facilitate executive-level communication regarding portfolio health, critical issues, and strategic opportunities.

Project Controls & Governance

• Develop and implement standardized KPIs for project and portfolio performance.
• Establish disciplined processes for cost management, earned value where appropriate, schedule management, forecasting, resource planning, and risk management.
• Implement effective change-order and scope-control practices.
• Establish consistent project reporting for executive leadership and other key stakeholders.
• Identify trends across the project portfolio and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Promote the use of project management technology and data analytics to improve transparency and decision-making.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Establish strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners on major projects.
• Ensure project teams understand customer objectives, contractual requirements, milestones, and success criteria.
• Support resolution of high-impact customer issues and commercial escalations.
• Promote a customer-focused approach while protecting Jennmar's commercial interests and project profitability.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, reduce execution risk, increase productivity, and improve margins.
• Establish post-project reviews and lessons-learned processes that are incorporated into future projects.
• Benchmark Jennmar's project management practices against leading industrial and global organizations.
• Drive adoption of standardized processes while maintaining appropriate flexibility for individual customers, markets, and project requirements.
