RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for Sam’s Club Dry Grocery and Walmart Bacon Toppings/Frozen.

Develops, implements, and executes sales and distribution plans at the account level while within budget.
Works with Category Sales to establish quarterly, six month, and annual objectives that meet/exceed corporate category net sales, market share, promotion spending, logistical efficiencies, and profit objectives.
Executes distribution, shelving, merchandising pricing (DSMP) objectives.
Sets and allocates sales plan in collaboration with Category Sales.
Effectively negotiates cost offers to determine appropriate investment levels, retail price points, and promotional plans to deliver Net Sales growth.
Leverages insights through business analytics and Category Management to develop and deliver fact-based presentations to drive brand initiatives and results for the company.
Provides management with pertinent feedback regarding local customer and competitive activity including competitive activity through SWOT analysis.
Effectively utilizes retailer platforms Madrid and Scintilla to interpret information regarding consumer dynamics, category and brand sales, share growth, and promotional strategy.
Continues to participate in learning and development workshops and activities in local, regional, and national meetings intended to improve selling techniques, knowledge of customer and company, and other business practices designed to enhance effectiveness in the marketplace.
Works with the customer to ensure that our trade investment policies and procedures are followed.
Leverages food forward presentations to deliver best in class experiences for the customer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
3+ years sales/marketing/sales strategy experience.
Demonstrated ability to understand and apply business analytics.
Pattern of initiative.
Proven problem solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work in a team environment on a variety of complex projects.
Well-developed interpersonal, organizational skills and analytical skills.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to take opportunities from conception to execution.
Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred

Proven record of successful sales results.
Experience with Madrid and Scintilla.
4+ years sales/marketing/sales strategy experience.

LOCATION: Bentonville Sales Office, Bentonville AR

A comprehensive relocation package to the Bentonville, AR area will be offered, if required.

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for the Senior Customer Executive II role is between $99,050 - $138,675 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
