The group is focused on the data-center and advanced manufacturing space by specializing in E-houses, CDUs, CUBs, White Space, Modular Data Centers, and other modular products for these markets.We offer end-to-end services to develop, design, procure, manufacture, and commission these modular products to meet client requirements. 

Position Value Proposition:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of control systems for modular data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and automation solutions to optimize data center performance. This role requires a strong understanding of control system design, electrical schematics, and industrial networking, as well as the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless system integration.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement control systems for modular data center solutions.
  • Program and configure PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems for automation and monitoring.
  • Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards, including NFPA, IEC, and ISO requirements.
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to integrate power distribution, cooling, and security systems.
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles are applied.
  • Support commissioning and deployment of control systems at client sites.
  • Maintain documentation and version control for all control system designs.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices and process improvements.

Required qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) to perform essential functions of this position:

I. Work Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in control system design, PLC programming, and SCADA development.
  • Expertise in Allan Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens, or Schneider PLCs and industrial automation platforms.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, cybersecurity, and IoT integration for industrial control systems.
  • Understanding of power distribution, HVAC, and critical infrastructure control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, project managers, and clients.

II. Education/Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

III. Software & Technology

  • Experience with electrical design software such as SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.

IV. Work Environment

 

Work is generally performed in a climate-controlled office area. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time throughout an 8-10 hour day.
