**What You’ll Work On:
**
- Okuma CNC machining centers and production equipment
- Servo systems, spindle assemblies, and tool changers
- Hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and coolant systems
- Industrial electrical controls and machine diagnostics
- Preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Equipment reliability and continuous improvement projects
What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on CNC machine tools
- Troubleshoot spindle, servo, axis, lubrication, tool changer, and coolant system failures
- Interpret CNC alarms, electrical schematics, machine documentation, and diagnostic screens
- Perform machine alignments, spindle inspections, lubrication checks, and mechanical adjustments
- Respond to machine breakdowns and drive rapid resolution to minimize downtime
- Complete preventive maintenance activities on CNC equipment and supporting systems
- Identify root causes of recurring machine failures and implement corrective actions
- Support machine installations, upgrades, and process improvements
- Partner with operators, setup personnel, engineering, and production leadership to improve machine performance
- Mentor junior maintenance technicians and share troubleshooting knowledge
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair notes, and PM documentation
- Follow all safety, Lockout/Tagout, and PPE requirements
**What We’re Looking For:
**
- 5+ years of CNC machine maintenance experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience maintaining CNC machining centers in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
- Experience using multimeters, dial indicators, precision measuring tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
**Preferred Experience:
**
- Okuma CNC equipment
- Fanuc controls
- Haas, Mazak, Mori Seiki, Makino, or similar CNC platforms
- Servo drives and motion control systems
- Spindle repair and machine tool diagnostics
- PLC troubleshooting
- Automated manufacturing systems and robotics

Pay Range
A reasonable estimate of the hourly pay range for this role is $35 – $55 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
