Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team in our facility located in Arundel, ME. If you have a passion for precision machining and a knack for operating advanced CNC mills, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will play a key part in producing high-quality components while mentoring junior machinists and contributing to our continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC mills, including both 3-4 axis and 5 axis Mills.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
• Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
• Mentor and train junior machinists to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Identify and troubleshoot machining issues, implementing solutions to improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with a strong background in operating 3-4 axis and 5 axis Mills.
• In-depth knowledge of CNC programming and G-code.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical training preferred.
