Scope:

Responsible for strategic procurement, supplier management, contract negotiation, and ensuring cost-effective acquisition of goods and services to support organizational goals.Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring timely acquisition of high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring timely acquisition of high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.

• Evaluate, select, and maintain relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance, reliability, and compliance with contracts.

• Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to secure advantageous agreements while adhering to company policies.

• Conduct research and analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and forecast price fluctuations.

• Assist in preparing budgets, monitor procurement expenditures, and adjust strategies to meet financial targets.

• Work with internal departments such as finance, operations, and production to align procurement with organizational needs.

• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier insolvency or material shortages.

• Participate in new product development, cost-management initiatives, and sustainability projects, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and environmental standards.

Requirement:Must be a U.S. citizen.

Work Experience And Required Qualifications:

• 5–7 years in purchasing or procurement, with proven experience in strategic sourcing and team leadership.
• MRP utilization and experience in ERP systems is a must.

Education & Training:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPP, CIPS) are preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Preferred Skills & Qualification:

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills; proficiency in procurement software; ability to manage multiple projects and analyze large datasets.

• Understanding of contract management, inventory systems, market trends, and regulatory compliance.
