Scope:
Responsible for strategic procurement, supplier management, contract negotiation, and ensuring cost-effective acquisition of goods and services to support organizational goals.Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring timely acquisition of high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring timely acquisition of high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.
Evaluate, select, and maintain relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance, reliability, and compliance with contracts.
Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to secure advantageous agreements while adhering to company policies.
Conduct research and analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and forecast price fluctuations.
Assist in preparing budgets, monitor procurement expenditures, and adjust strategies to meet financial targets.
Work with internal departments such as finance, operations, and production to align procurement with organizational needs.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier insolvency or material shortages.
Participate in new product development, cost-management initiatives, and sustainability projects, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and environmental standards.
