Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and implementation of automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Program from scratch, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with PLCs, Fanuc robots, and machine vision systems.
• Conduct time studies to optimize production efficiency.
• Utilize root cause analysis techniques.
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate project handoffs and customer-facing communications.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the year.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Fanuc robots and Robo Guide.

• Strong knowledge of industrial automation, vision, time studies, reach studies, simulation, and ordering components off the BOM.

• Experience with CAD software, specifically Solidworks.

• Familiarity with machine brands such as Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Keyence, and Cognex.

• Hands-on experience with the commissioning of systems on the customer floor.
