Your Opportunity as a Sr. Logistics Analyst
The Sr. Logistics Analyst will lead the site daily purchasing activities and provides functional support to the logistics organization. Daily purchasing activities for site storeroom and MRO inventory. Serves as the single point of contact for Marketplace. Communicates and drives cost savings initiatives by communicating with suppliers and corporate support functions to identify opportunities. Evaluates Supply Chain flow, costs, and functions to increase velocity across the organization. Formulates and leads Logistics Department projects. This role will also support other functions such as accounting and purchasing on an as needed basis. May also perform duties to support the site from an administrative perspective.

Work Arrangements: 100% on-site. Day Shift M-F (flexibility required)
In this Role You Will:
Coordinate production material supply
Schedule and lead weekly MRP meeting
Use MRP data to understand long and short-term production needs
Submit PO releases as necessary
Follow up on PO releases and obtain vendor confirmation
Manage Purchasing Expected Receipts
Revise POs and update with most current vendor information
Keep Warehouse informed of upcoming delivery schedule
Follow up on late deliveries
Own the Vendor Variance process
Submit and follow up on vendor material issues
Track vendor performance
Inform Purchasing team of vendor performance issues
Own & Manage Marketplace system for site
Site Superuser
Ensure all invoices are processed monthly
Train new & existing users
Assists system users with questions and troubleshooting, ensures accurate data is being recorded.
Storeroom
Purchasing of materials
System issuing of materials
Following up with Deliveries
Processing of received of materials
Provide training as needed
Liaison between Corporate Purchasing, Corporate Financial Services and Operations. Provide support and data gathering around production, cost center spends, variances and projects as needed; may provide support to cost center owners.
Warehouse materials support
Assist with the daily cycle count program
Assist in the investigation and analysis of production yields associated with Manufacturing Variance
Work with the warehouse and production to ensure adequate daily supply of materials
Department Improvement and Cost Savings Projects Lead
Analyze process flow and initiate, lead, and complete necessary improvement projects
Work with outside and inside supply chain contacts to identify cost benefit opportunities and lead initiatives to better our overall process.
Will serve as Warehouse Management System Project Lead when system comes online
Oracle Next Day User backup
Provide back up and vacation coverage as needed to complete the Next Day User responsibilities
Other Projects as necessary

What We are Looking For:
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
2 + years of related accounting, (WMS) warehouse management systems and (ERP) Enterprise Resource Planning experience, preferred 5+ years
Worked in manufacturing or warehouse environment
Strong technical proficiency with Excel, spreadsheets, etc.
Strong analytical, customer service, and strong attention to detail
Communication skills – proven ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
Problem solving – demonstrated ability to work a problem from problem statement development thru to root cause identification and systemic corrective action implementation
Familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably Oracle eAM
Initiative and follow thru – demonstrated ability to receive given basic coaching/direction and execute work assigned in an accurate and timely manner
Time management/prioritization – demonstrated ability to manage several tasks at a time thru to completion and meet the needs of multiple customers
Personal initiative to work independently and possess a high degree of diplomacy, confidentiality, and discretion
Work Environment: This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment and manufacturing sites can be high.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to talk and hear.

Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Able to lift objects up to 50 pounds frequently.
May push and pull heavy trash carts, dough carts, portable equipment, and catch pans.
