Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Global Strategic Marketing and the wider Marketing & Sales organization across a wide range of cross-functional venues, leading our response to controls, cybersecurity and connectivity product development.
  • Capture feedback from engagement with customers, channel, internal stakeholders and other partners on controls, cybersecurity and connectivity topics as part of Allison’s process to create customer value
  • Keeping MSS leadership up to date on latest impacts in the controls, cybersecurity, and connectivity areas of the business
  • Work with colleagues around the globe on FuelSense forecasting process improvement, pricing, and 5-year forecasting
  • Represent Allison Transmission at relevant industry trade shows and events to ensure awareness of future trends and opportunities, and to collaborate with industry peers
  • Report out OEM impacts and status at Product Team Reviews with Executive Staff
  • Leading Marketing and Sales related activities for ongoing product transitions from one generation to the next as part of electronic lifecycle management across the business
  • Support product development activities for new feature development and value creation related to vehicle connectivity and data usage

Qualifications

  • Technical or MBA degree to Masters level or above
  • Ability to navigate in a corporate setting, using relationships, processes and procedures
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, lead with confidence and integrate with various business functions
  • Extreme attention to detail and highly organized
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Experience

  • 5+ years Allison or commercial vehicle technical background/capability experience, with responsibilities aligned with external customers to voice of customer development
  • Hands on experience working with and simplifying complex problems and delivering results within a cross-functional team setting
  • Excellent communication and presentational skills, preferably with experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Experience with challenging the status quo and achieving results in the face of resistance
