Job Description

**Technical Support Engineer needed for a 12-month contract to hire opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Santa Clara, California.

• Pay Rate: $35 to $45 per hour depending on experience*

What You Will Be Doing:

• Hands-on and proactive
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment
• Flexible and adaptable to daily assignments
• Capable of working under minimal supervision

Daily Responsibilities:

• Lab support across different building locations
• Running wafers in semiconductor/cleanroom labs
• Installing and testing CIPs
• Developing field retrofit procedures
• Writing technical reports
• Preferred (not mandatory): Experience with semiconductor equipment

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Demonstrate depth of expertise in mechanical and electrical, and system discipline.
• Possess general knowledge of hardware and software to perform hands on activities on equipment.
• Solve complex problems; exercise judgment based on assessment of technical analysis, risk, business impact.
• Communicates difficult technical and non-technical concept with internal and external parties.
• Japanese or Vietnamese proficiency is plus.

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in semiconductor industry 3 - 5 Years
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Electrical Engineering
• 5–10 years of relevant work experience
• Travel: 20% of the Time
