We are seeking a skilled and motivated Semi Truck Mechanic to join our dynamic team in Huntsville Alabama. In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of heavy-duty trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly, supporting the transportation needs of our business. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on semi trucks, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, and fluid replacements to maximize vehicle longevity.
• Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
• Repair and fabricate components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations related to vehicle maintenance and heavy equipment operation.

Skills

• Proven experience working with semi trucks or heavy-duty vehicles in a dealership or industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC systems, shocks & struts.
• Skilled in automotive diagnostics using schematics and electronic testing tools.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques and assembly processes.
• Experience with tire service, wheel alignment procedures, brake repair, and general vehicle maintenance.

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
