Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on semi trailers, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Inspect trailers for safety compliance and recommend necessary repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive or diesel mechanics preferred.
• Proven experience as a semi trailer technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of trailer systems, including air brakes, electrical systems, and chassis components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
