Job Overview:
Join the team at J.W. Jung Seed Company , an industry leader in mail-order and retail gardening. With six garden centers across Wisconsin, Jung Seed Company ships thousands of quality seeds, plants, and gardening accessories to all 50 states.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Seed Processing Supervisor to support our Seed Department with maintaining bulk inventory, creating and processing work orders and overseeing a team.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain accurate records of bulk seed inventory
- Create and process work orders to support production needs across multiple product lines
- Supervise and coordinate a team of approximately 12-15 employees
- Ensure production goals and deadlines are met in a timely manner
- Plan and allocate weekly workload to maintain efficiency across all production areas
- Provide cross-functional support
- Handle miscellaneous tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Other duties as assigned

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of algebraic concepts
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to learn and grow with the company
