Position Purpose:The Security Engineering Manager will lead our security engineering team. This role is responsible for building and maintaining secure systems, guiding security architecture, managing risks, and enabling the business to operate safely and efficiently. This role will combine technical expertise with strong leadership and strategic vision.
Primary Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of security engineers.
- Set priorities, define goals, and manage performance.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative security culture.
- Design, implement, and manage Cisco security solutions across enterprise networks, data centers, and cloud environments.
- Oversee deployment and operations of Cisco ASA/FTD firewalls, Firepower, Umbrella, Identity Services Engine (ISE), Secure Network Analytics (Stealth watch), Secure Email/Web Gateways, and Cisco Secure Access. Integrate security into development and infrastructure processes.
- Drive Zero Trust initiatives leveraging Cisco architecture.
- Evaluate and deploy security tools, technologies, and frameworks.
- Manage firewall rule governance, VPN solutions (AnyConnect, DMVPN, FlexVPN), and segmentation policies.
- Oversee vulnerability management and threat detection using Cisco Threat Response and related tools.
- Monitor and fine-tune intrusion prevention, malware defense, and DLP solutions.
- Automate repetitive security tasks using Cisco APIs and orchestration.
- Define and drive the security engineering roadmap.
- Stay ahead of emerging threats, technologies, and best practices.
- Communicate security posture, risks, and progress to executives and key stakeholders.
- Manage security engineering budget, tools, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure optimal use of internal and external resources.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree - computer science, Information Security, or related field.
Work Experience:
• 1 - 3 Years in a leadership role
• 1 - 3 Years Experience with multi-cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) integrated with Cisco solutions.
• 7 - 10 Years in cybersecurity experience
Required Qualifications:
• Proven expertise in Cisco security technologies (firewalls, ISE, Umbrella, Secure Access, etc.).
• Strong understanding of networking, VPNs, segmentation, and Zero Trust security.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• 3 - 5 Years - Hands-on expertise in automation/scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)
