Reports To: Supervisor – Warehouse Operations; Director of Operations

Supervises: This position has no direct reports

Major Working Conditions

This is a seasonal position expected to run from May through early September, with dates subject to operational needs. Work is performed in a warehouse environment with regular interaction and coordination among RCCB Warehouse Operations personnel and automation contractors.

Primary Function

The Seasonal Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately selecting, assembling, staging, and loading customer orders in a safe and efficient manner using pallet jacks and forklifts. This position ensures proper product handling, load preparation, and documentation while maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. The role also supports overall warehouse operations by performing additional duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive power pallet jack or forklift to picking area and build pallet/load according to load sheet or voice pick audio equipment (if applicable). 
• Mark load ticket for out of stock items. 
• Wrap pallet when pallet/load is finished. 
• Turn in paper work with order for check before loading and have truck checked. 
• Stage pallet and/or load into truck when ready. 
• Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets. 
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area. 
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Requires a High school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma 
• At least 3 years’ experience working in a warehouse distribution environment 
• Must have a valid NC Driver License 
• A good candidate must provide a good work history that demonstrates: leadership, dependability, integrity, attention to detail, self-motivated, excellent customer service and takes initiative 
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Must have the ability to obtain a forklift license and operate manual/power pallet jacks, floor scrubber, and other warehouse equipment 
• Ability to lift 40 pounds occasionally 
• Ability to lift 30 pounds over shoulders occasionally 
• Ability to lift CO2 cylinders occasionally (up to 55 pounds) 
• Ability to push/pull product frequently 
• Ability to walk/stand/sit at least 8 hours/daily 
• Ability to work in fast paced work environment 
• Ability to pass the company background and Motor Vehicle Report check and the company drug testing requirements
