As a Yard Hand, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and efficiency of our yard operations. Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operations of the yard, ensuring a clean and organized environment.

• Sort and prepare metals for recycling using tools like torches and saws to cut up used parts.

• Manage and sort waste materials, operates machinery for reccycling and ensures saftey protocols.

• Responsibilities include material classifacation and equipment manitenance.

• Support the team with various tasks as directed by supervisors.

• Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies.

• May operate machines and forklifts for moving latge items.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment is a plus.
• Ability to operate basic yard equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
