Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them with the scrap drop-off process.
• Operate the scale to weigh incoming and outgoing materials accurately.
• Process transactions and handle cash, credit, and debit payments.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and inventory.
• Provide information to customers regarding pricing and services offered.
• Ensure the scale house and surrounding areas are clean and organized.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in using computers and basic software applications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions.
